oh yea, i loved joan armatrading back in the day. i had the pleasure of seeing her live in concert in hannover, germany, in the early 80’s. after the tried to push her more in the states, i felt her music lost its edge. although she’s been out of the spotlight for awhile, she just released a new cd recently, and i’ve heard really great things about it.
